| On Europe Day, 9 May 2006, the Cafés d’ Europe were also the scene of a wide range of other activities. For example, a European daily newspaper was produced. The Europe Journal was published by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), a prestigious German daily. A “virtual” European editing team wrote on a wide variety of themes reflecting Europe’s great cultural diversity. This daily appeared on Europe Day 2006 in German and English. |
